frequently asked

Questions
we hear often.

What is included in the rate?

Both stay modes include accommodation, complimentary transfers from Siana Airstrip, and access to the camp, grounds, and river. The Full Living Experience additionally includes a kitchenette, stocked bar, and optional private chef. Please see the Rates page for full details.

How do I get to Nyota Springs?

The easiest route is by air to Siana Airstrip, 1 km from camp. Charter and scheduled flights operate from Nairobi Wilson Airport and Mombasa. We arrange complimentary transfers. By road from Nairobi via Narok is approximately 5–6 hours.

Is the camp suitable for children?

Yes. The Family Suite is designed for families of four. The camp is fully wheelchair accessible and the grounds are safe for children. Some activities welcome children, while others have a minimum age. Please mention ages at the time of enquiry.

Is the camp wheelchair accessible?

Fully. The suites, restaurant, decks, and grounds are all wheelchair accessible. If you have specific requirements, please let us know at the time of enquiry.

When is the best time to visit?

The Mara is remarkable year-round. The dry season (July–October) brings the great migration through the wider ecosystem and concentrates wildlife around the Olmeirui River. The wet season brings green landscapes and fewer visitors.

Can we arrange private dining?

Yes. The camp has multiple riverfront locations for private dining, and Nyota Nights — dinner in the open air with a Maasai bonfire — is available by arrangement.

Is the hot air balloon included?

The hot air balloon experience is arranged through our partner operators and is not included in the base rate. It is subject to availability and weather conditions. We handle all logistics — please enquire at the time of booking.

Can we take the camp on a private basis?

Yes. The full camp can be taken privately. Ideal for family gatherings, small groups, or those who want the entire property exclusively. Please enquire directly for private hire rates and availability.
